Hi Everyone, This is Erin Shean, Leos mom from the Wolf Den! I have attached a flyer for the Loma Vista Garden Event scheduled for Saturday July 30, 9am-1pm. This event helps our school build planters for the new outdoor garden and begin work on the new outdoor classroom!! Everyone is welcome to attend, scouts and parents! I know we need help with labor and power tools. So if you are able to help out... Please feel free to either contact Ashley who's info is on the flyer or myself! Thank you Everyone!!! Hope to see you all out there! Erin Shean 805-223-3635 "This is a great opportunity to give back to Mrs. McMullen and Loma Vista School for their continued support to our Pack and the opportunity to allow us the use of their facilities for our meetings." Thank you everyone in advance and hope to see you all out there on Saturday, July 30th! Please wear your Class B (blue) T-shirts.                                ~A SCOUT'S DUTY IS TO BE USEFUL AND TO HELP OTHERS.

Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Posted on May 2 2015 - 2:37pm

"What does it take to be a volunteer?  A long, rich background of Scouting involvement is NOT required!  What is needed is a desire to work with and help young people, a willingness to make time in your schedule, and the rest is easy!  Lots of resources and training are available and many people will support your efforts." Each year parents are needed to volunteer for our Pack Events.  We are currently in the process of filling volunteer positions for the next scouting year (2015-16).  All positions need to filled for our pack to have a successul year.  Please take some time to look through the attached Volunteer Roster at our next Pack meeting.  Some of the positions are short term and others are for the entire year.  Each parent must be willing to assist in some capacity if our Cub Scout Pack is to run effectively. We are looking forward to another fun-filled year.  (Scouting year runs July 1-June 30)  If you have any questions regarding any of the positions please ask any of the Pack Leaders.  Thank you in advance for your dedication and hard work!
